Sponsors
Godparents for Baptism and Sponsors for
Confirmation provide a great service to the Church as well
as to the one receiving the Sacrament. By their active and
frequent participation in the Sacramental life of the
Church, they witness by their actions what their role
signifies.
Sponsors for either Sacrament must be 16
years of age and have received the Sacrament of
Confirmation.
